I'm currently looking for a flex developer to join a small but growing development team to work on existing and greenfield projects. The primary responsibility will be to build technical Flex web applications. The cutting edge technology transforms any form of online display advertising unit (ad banners, widgets, videos, etc), into a fully functioning secure eCommerce application. Based in Soho.

If anyone would like to know more email me at alaric@prospectmsl.com.

FlexWiki is the name of our Opensource project running since 2004. Adobe has remove references to Flex Wiki from their site. Can you please rephrase your heading, or better move your wiki so that it runs of FlexWiki.

Un-retiring after returning from the US. In my own time reworking a system for head trama patients that I prototyped in Flash/Coldfusion back in 2005, but am looking for a proper money-earning job as well.

Although i am relatively new to the Flex side of things, I do have 40 years of picking up new languages and techniques quickly. My main assets are :-

    a) being able to take complex problems and break them up into a
        series of simpler, solvable, problems.

     b) writing code that is easy to debug ... rather than clever

     c) I bring with me a lot of experience on how other projects
encountered and overcame problems, reducing the amount
         of wheel reinventing required.

Hey guys, just joined up and wanted to send in my thoughts...

I quite new to flex, coming from a PHP background I don't have any problems with having no Timeline but still the learning curve is quite steep.

For myself, I would be very interested in any best practice / quick ways to handle loading data from XML to a flex form, validating and then sending back (via XML) to a database. I do this all the time with PHP and have developed some handy classes that handle all the boring bits. Right now, i'm finding flex quite slow for this kinda thing so I think i'm missing something.

Any thoughts?

Hi there,

We are looking for some one to develop our property portal using flex, coldfusion & MySQL. It would be a development opportunity for someone who either has some spare time, or wants to build up their portfolio. Most of the graphic's have been done and the layout has been designed on paper. It would also be using API mapping and any other scripting that they want to use.

If anyone is interested then email me at Dave.Robertson@hotmail.co.uk

Cheers
